Kestrin Pantera

Kestrin Pantera is writer/director The New York Times called “a force.” Her first feature, “Let's Ruin It With Babies,” was hailed by the Los Angeles Times as, “honest, convincing, and just plain adorable.” She created several TV series for AwesomenessTV and showran digital series for Facebook, as well as directing commercials for clients ranging from WIRED to J&J.

Before directing, Kestrin was a classically trained musician-turned-rocker, playing cello in rock bands in Los Angeles and on tour across the world. Her original music has appeared on television shows and in award winning films. Music is therefore an instrumental part of her directing process. She still plays cello with a live band every week.

Prior to moving to LA, she lived in Taipei, Taiwan for almost two years, where she became fluent in Mandarin and performed voice-overs for 100+ companies in the US and Southeast Asia.

She now lives in Los Angeles with her family and a small menagerie of found animals.
